Designing a show garden for Chelsea presented us with a wonderful opportunity to create a contemporary garden which is forward looking.
We continued our experimentation with tensile structures which have both functional and sculptural possibilities, and which contrast so beautifully with the textures and colours of plants.
The decking walkway was designed to make people feel as though they were actually inside the garden as they passed under the huge fabric canopies beside the canal.
The exhibit was subsequently moved to the RHS Garden at Wisley as an exemplar of contemporary garden design.
